Pakistan: Women struggle against tribal customs

The Pakistan military offensive against militants in North Waziristan has resulted in hundreds of thousands of refugees being relocated - the majority of them women and children.

Many of them have travelled to the neighbouring town of Bannu, where the government has provided accommodation, food and medical facilities.

However, tribal customs mean that, for some women, they have to break rules even to eat.

BBC Urdu's Iram Abbasi reports from Bannu, where the names of the women she met have been changed to protect their identities.
