Hong Kong: 1990s hit becomes unofficial protest anthem

Pro-democracy protesters have been indulging in mass sing-along sessions on the streets to a popular Cantonese hit from the 1990s.

Under a Vast Sky by Canto-rock band Beyond, which has lyrics about longing for freedom, has become a crowd favourite.

Its popularity comes despite many protesters being too young to remember its release in 1993.
