Myanmar's fledgling music industry is dominated by pirated and slightly modified versions of international pop hits.

Normal cover versions of songs see an artist put a fresh twist on someone else's composition.

Under most country's laws when you release one you pay the original composer for the privilege.

In Myanmar, also known as Burma, no working law governs intellectual property - so for decades singers have been stealing international hits, adding new lyrics and packaging them as their own.
