Japan election: Turnout could be 'post-war low'

Voting has closed in Japan's Parliamentary election, where it is thought that turnout could hit a post-war low.

Exit polls are projecting an overwhelming victory for the Liberal Democratic Party of the prime minister, Shinzo Abe, who called the snap election to seek a fresh mandate for his efforts to revitalise Japan's economy.
