AirAsia: Captain Iriyanto 'professional and experienced'

Tributes have been paid to the pilot of AirAsia flight QZ8501, which went missing en route from Surabaya in Indonesia to Singapore, with 162 people on board.

Captain Iriyanto an Indonesian national, has been described as an experienced airman, who was a fighter pilot before going into commercial aviation.

Friends said he was "professional and humble."
