Drone waiters unveiled in Singapore

Food is a national obsession in Singapore, but the country is facing a desperate shortage of waiting staff to get the food from the kitchen to the diner.

One company thinks it has found the solution in the form of flying drones to automatically deliver your dinner.

Infinium's robots whizz above the heads of diners on paths charted by a computer program, and navigate using infra-red sensors placed around the restaurant.

But are Singaporean foodies ready to be served their dinner without the human touch?
