Nepal earthquake eyewitness: 'The ground shook quite hard'

The death toll is rising from a powerful earthquake in Nepal, with many people feared trapped under rubble.

A national state of emergency has been declared after the 7.8 magnitude quake struck an area between the capital Kathmandu and the city of Pokhara.
