Female activists cross Koreas' DMZ to promote peace

A group of female activists have made a rare crossing through one of the world's most militarised borders to promote reconciliation between North and South Korea.

The group of 30 activists rode by bus through the demilitarised zone separating the two Koreas after spending several days in Pyongyang.

Both the North and South have given the women permission for the action.
