India heatwave: Pulling a rickshaw in sweltering Delhi

Nearly 800 people are reported to have died in a heatwave sweeping India, with temperatures reaching 48C (118F) in some areas.

Most deaths have taken place in the southern states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, where more than 140 people have died since Saturday.

The heat has taken an increasingly severe toll on those who have to work outdoors.

Raju, a bicycle-rickshaw operator in Delhi, spoke to the BBC about his battle to earn a living in the extreme heat.
