China marks 70 years since end of WW2 with military parade

China held a large military parade to mark 70 years since their defeat of Japan and the end of World War Two.

12,000 Chinese soldiers and almost 1,000 foreign troops marched through Tiananmen Square.

China says a large number of new weapons systems were on show, from nuclear-capable ballistic missiles to bombers.
