Myanmar elections: 'We hope NLD can fight poverty'

In Myanmar's Irrawaddy Delta town of Hinthada, the ruling USDP faces against a surge of opposition from the National League for Democracy, led by Aung San Suu Kyi.

The BBC spoke to Myint Tin, a landless farmer from Kansu village, and rice transporter Aung Naing Oou.

They both said they would vote NLD in the hope that more would be done to fight poverty.
