Myanmar election : Inside a polling station

For the first time in a generation, the people of Myanmar are voting to elect a new parliament in a contested vote.

The country has been ruled by its military for nearly half a century but recent years have seen economic and political reform.

Thousands of local and international observers are being allowed to monitor the vote.
