Japan's first ever MP to take paternity leave proves controversial

A member of parliament in Japan is taking paternity leave for the first time in the country's history.

Kensuke Miyazaki says he wants to encourage more fathers to take up the option.

Men in Japan can take up to 52 weeks of leave at 60% of their salary, but only 2% do.
