Afghan president Ashraf Ghani: 'We will bury Daesh'

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has promised to "bury" the so-called Islamic State (IS) militant group.

In an interview with the BBC's Lyse Doucet, Mr Ghani said IS was "not an Afghan phenomenon" and its atrocities had "alienated the people".

He also addressed peace talks with the Taliban, saying they needed to take place by April so that conflict does not intensify in the region.
