Thousands gather for Qadri funeral in Pakistan

About 50,000 people have gathered in Rawalpindi in Pakistan for the funeral of Mumtaz Qadri.

Qadri was executed on Monday for the murder of the governor of Punjab province, Salman Taseer, in 2011.

Many Islamists considered him to be a hero as his victim had wanted to reform Pakistan's strict blasphemy laws.
