Afghanistan violence: Suicide bombing targets Kabul

Several people have been killed and more than 200 injured, after a suicide attacker detonated a vehicle in the centre of the Afghan capital Kabul.

A Taliban spokesman said the group carried out the attack in a residential neighbourhood close to the military compounds.
