Bangladesh attack: 'Stunned and dumbfounded about my son'

A politician from the governing party in Bangladesh has spoken of his sorrow and shame after learning that his son was among the Islamist militants who attacked a cafe in the capital, Dhaka, on Friday.

Imtiaz Khan told the BBC Bengali Service that his son, Rohan, left home six months ago and had not been in touch since.

He said : "I am stunned and dumbfounded, my son used to pray five times a day from a young age".
