Philippine President Duterte 'regrets' Obama 'whore' jibe

A spokesman has apologised after Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte made controversial remarks about US President Obama ahead of a scheduled meeting.

Mr Duterte is said to regret the remarks he made in response to the US president's promise to raise the issue of drug-related extra-judicial killings in the Philippines.
