Ex border control inspector says rise in returning Indian migrants

On her first visit to India as Prime Minster, Theresa May has said she will not increase Indian visa quotas.

Mrs May suggested it could be made easier for some Indians to come to the UK, if it became simpler to send others back.

John Vine, the former chief inspector of borders and immigration from 2008 until 2014, tells the World at One that there has been a rise of voluntary returnees.
