Afghanistan women's orchestra closes global forum
Under the Taliban, Afghans were prohibited from listening to or playing music. But for 30 girls in the Zohra Afghan women's orchestra, music has become an educational pursuit - and even a career.
Some of the members, aged from 13 to 20, come from poverty or the streets - but last week they played to more than 1,000 global leaders at the World Economic Forum at Davos in Switzerland.
