Balochistan's Hazara angry at coal miner murders

A road was blocked and tyres burned in protest at the kidnap and killing of 11 coal miners from Balochistan's Hazara community.

The minority community has repeatedly been targeted by extremists because they are followers of Shia Islam.

The Islamic State militant group says it was responsible for taking the miners from their shared residence on the outskirts of Quetta on Saturday, and taking them into nearby mountains.
