Aftermath of tornado and rain in China

Fifty-one people have died and dozens have been injured in eastern China as a result of extreme weather events, Chinese state media says.

A tornado swept through Yancheng City and Huaian, destroying buildings.

Lianshui County was hit by heavy rainfall.
