Sachin Tendulkar 'will be missed', say Indian cricket fans

Cricket fans in India have praised the record-breaking batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who has announced that he is to retire.

He will stand down after playing his 200th Test match next month.

The 40-year-old former India captain is the highest run-scorer in the history of Test cricket.

Speaking to the BBC's Sameer Hashmi in Mumbai, cricket fans described Tendulkar as "a legend" and said he will be missed.
