Narendra Modi's 'Clean India' plan scrubs up New Delhi station

Millions of Indians are expected to pick up their buckets and brooms in a nationwide campaign to clean streets and public spaces.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on people to use Thursday's national holiday to support his five year 'Clean India' drive.

The promise to improve sanitation and cleanliness was a key part of Mr Modi's election campaign, pledging to build "toilets first, temples later".

Andrew North went to New Delhi railway station to see if the clean up drive is proving a success.
