Thousands protest against 'sedition' arrest of JNU student leader

An estimated 10,000 protesters, mostly students, marched through the centre of the Indian capital New Delhi.

They are demanding a student leader charged with sedition, Kanhaiya Kumar, be released.

The case has prompted a major debate about whether India is becoming a more intolerant nation.
