India's filmmakers complain about censorship

Filmmakers in India operate under challenging circumstances where their work is heavily patrolled by activist groups and government officials.

Two films were recently removed from a big Indian international film festival because government officials were reportedly uncomfortable with their content.

On a day-to-day basis there is also the official Censor Board which has become a major source of frustration for filmmakers seeking freedom of expression.
