Family rescued in China search

Heavy rain in north-west China has been disrupting rescue efforts in Zhouqu county, which was hit by a landslide on Sunday.

At least 1,000 people have lost their lives and hundreds more are still missing, with hopes of finding survivors fading.

However state television showed soldiers rescuing a family on Wednesday who had been trapped in their apartment.
