Spain dismisses Eta ceasefire as 'insufficient'

Spain's government has firmly rejected the announcement of a ceasefire by the separatist group, Eta.

It called the offer "insufficient", and insisted the group must renounce violence forever.

Eta has called two ceasefires before, but abandoned them both.
