Thousands evacuate Indonesian volcano Mount Merapi area
Indonesia's most volatile volcano is erupting forcing thousands of people living on the volcano's slopes to evacuate.
Officials say Mount Merapi, in central Java, began erupting just before dusk on Tuesday, spewing plumes of hot ash and hurling rocks into the air.
The BBC's Karishma Vaswani says that the evacuation is proving to be "an extremely difficult procedure".
