Qantas 'will ground A380 superjumbos' says company chief Alan Joyce
Qantas has said it is grounding all of its A380 superjumbos pending safety checks, after one of its fleet had to make an emergency landing in Singapore after experiencing engine trouble following take-off.
Company chief executive Alan Joyce said ''significant engine failure'' was to blame and a full investigation was under way.
The A380 is the world's largest passenger airliner, a double-decker which can carry up to 850 people.
