China Tate artist Ai Weiwei 'under house arrest'
The Chinese artist who created the latest installation in the turbine hall at London's Tate Modern gallery says he's been placed under house arrest in Beijing.
Ai Weiwei told the BBC the move was in retaliation for his criticism of China's government, as well as a dispute over a gallery earmarked for demolition in Shanghai.
