Aerial view of damage on South Korea's Yeonpyeong island
Pictures reveal damage on Yeonpyeong island after North and South Korea fired dozens of artillery shells across their tense western sea border on Wednesday.
In one of the most serious incidents since the Korean War ended in 1953, two South Korean soldiers were killed and more than a dozen people were hurt.
The latest pictures of the island show neighbourhoods reduced to rubble with shops and homes burnt and destroyed.
