Giant ice sculptures at Japan festival

Japan's annual snow festival has begun in the northern city of Sapporo, featuring over 250 ice sculptures.

The seven-day event attracts a growing number of visitors from Japan and abroad every year, with around 2m people expected to visit the exhibits this year.
