The town at the epicentre of New Zealand's earthquake

The number of people killed by the earthquake in New Zealand is now put at 113.

Two of the dead have been confirmed as British. More than 220 people are still missing in Christchurch and the surrounding area.

Thousands of survivors are still without water or power and it could take weeks for the supplies to be reconnected.

Nick Bryant reports from Lyttelton, the town at the quake's epicentre.
