Japan earthquake: Charity helping children in Japan

Around 450,000 people are staying in temporary shelters in Japan as the massive relief effort continues after Friday's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Fears are growing as engineers race to avert a nuclear catastrophe at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant, 220km (140 miles) from Tokyo.

A charity concerned about the psychosocial effects of the disaster on children has been working with families who are being housed in temporary shelters.

Save the Children's Ian Wolverton says the charity has set up "child friendly places" for families staying in evacuation centres.
