Japan: Robots measure radiation at nuclear plant

Remote-controlled robots are being used at the quake-hit Fukushima nuclear plant to measure radiation levels.

The robots have been inside reactors two and three where they are revealing the damage to the interior of the plants.

It comes as the the government is to make it illegal to enter a 20km (12-mile) evacuation zone around the reactors.

The BBC's Roland Buerk said robots have been used because radiation is still leaking in the nuclear plant.
