Economy a key point for vice president Biden in China

The US Vice-President Joe Biden has begun an official visit to China, amid criticism about his country's financial problems.

China is the US government's biggest foreign creditor and has been critical of America's "addiction to debt".

During his visit, Mr Biden will hold a series of meetings with senior Chinese officials, including the vice-president, Xi Jinping - the man expected to be country's next leader.
