Children malnourished in North Korea after heavy flooding
Reports from North Korea say that children in some areas of the country are severely malnourished.
They are at risk of dying after heavy flooding earlier this year. The humanitarian news service Reuters AlertNet was invited in by the North Korean government to chronicle the food security situation.
The agency says its work there was restricted.
Last week, the UN warned that one third of North Korean children under the age of five were chronically malnourished.
