MH17 crash: Australian PM Tony Abbott deploys police
Australia has prepared 50 police officers to fly to eastern Ukraine to help secure the site of the downed Malaysia Airlines plane.
The prime minister, Tony Abbott, said the site is still controlled by armed pro-Russian rebels with "a vested interest in the outcome of any investigation".
Twenty-seven Australians were among the 298 people killed when MH17 crashed on 17 July.
