Australian surfer, 13, recovering after shark attack
An Australian teenager was bitten by a shark when she was surfing at Australia's Avoca Beach early on Friday morning.
The 13-year-old was treated at nearby Gosford Hospital for deep lacerations to her calf and foot.
Authorities closed the beach, north of Sydney after the attack.
