Edgecumbe's residents saved on 'Tau's Ark'

Tautini Hahipene, a resident of Edgecumbe, New Zealand, has ended up rescuing nearly 30 people from the flooding in the town after setting out to save his mother-in-law.

The effort has been referred to on social media as "Tau's Ark".
