Greece facing more strike action over austerity plans

Just days after truck drivers called off their crippling strike, Greece is bracing itself for another bout of industrial action.

Workers in the state owned power corporation are threatening trouble over plans to part privatise the company. Unions are also gearing up to fight against plans to slim down and sell off the rail network as part of the effort to reduce Greece's enormous debt.

The government's austerity measures are aimed at tackling the economic problems which have triggered a crisis in the Euro.
