Inside a Georgian 'patriot' youth camp

Every summer the Georgian government organises and funds youth camps for thousands of children.

The idea is to nurture a new breed of teenage patriot - but some liberals claim that the result is a form of brainwashing.

There are classes in how to be patriotic, provocative songs about how the breakaway territories of South Ossetia and Abkhazia are "ours" - all overseen by a band of camp leaders.

This year's camps will take place just as a new school curriculum comes into force, which includes military defence classes.

Here, camp leader Lena Kochiashvili gives the BBC a tour of one of the camps and explains why she believes they are important.
