Racism in French job market reflected in film

One in 10 people in France is without a job. In the suburbs, that figure rises to 20 per cent.

And if you are an immigrant, the chances are it is considerably worse than that.

Now, a new French film, L'Italien has lifted the lid on how some from immigrant backgrounds are getting around the problem and it is stirring lively debate.
