Protesters take to Paris streets in French national strike
Thousands of people in cities across France are taking part in a day of demonstrations in opposition to the government's pension reforms.
The bill, will raise the minimum retirement age from 60 to 62 and the age at which people can retire on full pensions from 65 to 67.
Unions and police say Tuesday's protests in Paris are the biggest so far, estimating a turnout of 330,000 and 89,000 respectively.
