Pope warns Spain over secularisation

Pope Benedict has spoken of an "aggressive anti-clericalism" in Spain, like that seen in the country during the 1930s, at the start of a two-day visit.

The Spanish government has relaxed some social laws and has also recently ended compulsory religious education in state schools, to protests from the Church.
