German immigration debate in the spotlight

Germany is in the throes of an intense debate about immigration and particularly how its Muslim community can integrate.

The publication of a book suggesting Muslim immigration is damaging Germany has recently stirred controversy, while last month Chancellor Angela Merkel said multiculturalism was a "failure".
