Spain awaits 'El Gordo', the world's biggest lottery draw

Millions of Spaniards will be holding their breath, on Wednesday, for the draw of the world's biggest lottery.

The annual event is known as 'El Gordo', the fat one, and has a prize pot of 2bn-euro ($2.63 bn, £1.7bn).

And although Spain's economic troubles are serious, many Spaniards can not resist a flutter on the ever popular lottery.
