Lukashenko sworn in for fourth term as President of Belarus

Alexander Lukashenko has been sworn in for a fourth term as the president of Belarus, after his election last month.

The inauguration took place at the Palace of the Republic in the capital Minsk, as European officials consider imposing strict sanctions against Belarus for a crackdown against the opposition.

EU officials boycotted the inauguration ceremony.
