Gerry Adams on campaign trail in Ireland

The Irish head to the polls this Friday in a general election that was forced by the collapse of the country's finances.

All candidates have been focusing on what they would do to revive the faltering economy.

One of those is the Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams, who stood down from his West Belfast seat to allow him to stand in the Republic.
